Sensaphone, FGD-0127-NIST, 2.8K Type Temperature Sensor in Glycol Vial and NIST Certificate
FGD-0127-NIST Includes Only:
- Temperature Sensor
- 12' of wire
Features:
- Glycol filled vial will buffer any momentary fluctuations that may cause a preliminary alarm
The Temperature Sensor in Glycol Vial can be used with most Sensaphone models to measure the temperature of objects in a refrigerator or freezer. By placing the sensor in a bottle filled with glycol, users will receive a reading that represents the temperature of the refrigerator's contents rather than the ambient air temperature. The Sensaphone will trigger an alarm when the temperature falls outside of the programmed high or low-temperature limit. The glycol-filled vial will also buffer any momentary fluctuations that may cause a preliminary alarm dial out, such as defrost cycles, the opening of doors, and fans circulating air. The glycol will slow the response time of the sensor, allowing normal daily operations to occur without having an alarm. The included 12 feet of wire can be extended with optional accessory wire.
