The rectangular, remote-powered balancing damper is designed to balance air flow in an HVAC system. It is ideally suited for applications where balancing dampers are located in finished ceilings or are simply difficult to access and adjust manually. A hand-held remote control positioner equipped with a 9-volt power supply (BAL-C sold separately*) operates the damper actuator via a plug-in RJ11 cable terminating at an optional wall box, round ceiling plate, or diffuser connector.
